In a bizarre partnership that defies conventional expectations, the game developer has revealed an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the popular anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, offering free extra story content for Shadows players.

Mysterious Mission Uncovered

According to the authorized statement, "A strange meeting pulls characters Naoe and Yasuke into a new mission, where whispers of banned ceremonies and monstrous changes echo through the shadows." The plot introduces a "unusually garbed woman named Ada" who tasks the characters with journeying into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her ally from a hidden sect.

The questline concentrates on "strange experiments and a fearsome foe" and is open to all players who have unlocked the Yasuke character.

Familiar Locations and Transformations

The teaser highlights the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan recreated as the Crystal Cave. This significant location was previously where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through eras. The preview finishes with a dramatic moment showing a character, likely the captive, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Unique Prizes and Bonus Material

Players who successfully complete the mission will acquire an unique katana together with multiple objects concealed throughout the area in concealed chests. The update also contains in-store Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

Third Free Story Update
